History

Norfolk House School has been on its current site since 1897. The school was previously for boys up to the age of 13 and in the early part of the twentieth century the school prepared boys for the Royal Navy. In 1992 the school became co-educational and in line with many schools in the area finished when children reach age 11.

The school has undergone huge building work investment over the last few years, and in 2009 will see a new library and science block added.
