Alex in 3C Becomes a Published Book Critic!

Posted on January 30 2014

Over the last two months, I have been writing book reviews for the Guardian website. My teacher, Mrs. Cannon, said it might be a good idea to write book reviews to make homework more interesting and because I am crazy about reading. At first I wasn’t sure about it but once I had a look at the website I wanted to join.

Once I signed up I had to think about which books to review. So far, I have chosen a mix of books and ones from home – from adventure to comedy to classics. I only choose books I enjoyed but you don’t have to!

What I like about the website is that I can share my love of books with other people. It’s great to get people reading books I like and to hear about other books.

As a bonus they send you newsletters and free books but you have to review them! There is also a discussion area and you can send in your own stories!

It feels great to see your work published.

If you’re interested – join!
