The Admissions Process

Our guide for prospective parents through the school’s application and admissions process

1. Complete our School application form

Once you have completed and submitted the form our friendly Admissions Team will be in touch to book a visit to Norfolk House.

You can find our school application form here

2. Visit Norfolk House

The second step is to invite you in for a personal tour of our school with our Head Teacher, Mr Lander. He will give you a thorough insight into life at Norfolk House and answer any questions you may have.

Tours usually take place within the Autumn Term from Sept- December.

3. Taster Day

Nursery and Reception

For children joining our nursery or Reception class, there is no taster day required. We do ask that your child attends the tour, so that we can meet the whole family.

Entry into our Main School

Following an initial visit to Norfolk House, Mr Lander may wish to arrange a taster day or morning for your child to experience life at Norfolk House and to meet their peers. The taster day is a valuable opportunity for an informal assessment to be carried out by our teaching staff.

4. Offers

If an offer is made to your child, a completed contract, documentation, and a non-refundable deposit will be required from you to confirm a place.

5. Place Confirmed

Once a place has been confirmed, entry is usually at the beginning of the Autumn term in September, the Spring term in January or the Summer term in April – in certain circumstances, we do accept applications at other times during the academic year.

6. Joining

The admissions team will provide all details you need to ensure your family's transition to Norfolk House is a smooth one. We have an online parent portal that provides easy access to the information you need, and our admissions team is available to answer any questions that you might have.
