Once you have completed and submitted the form our Admissions Team will be in touch to book a visit to Norfolk House.
You can find our school application form here.
Our second step is to invite you in for a visit where you will be shown around by our Head Teacher, Mr Lander. He will give you a thorough insight into life at Norfolk House and how we are different from other schools.
Tours usually take place within the Autumn Term from Sept- December.
Following an initial visit to Norfolk House, a taster session is offered with Mrs Enisuoh, our Deputy Head Teacher. Upon arrival, we encourage parents to remain with their child whilst Mrs Enisuoh interacts through informal play, during which your child will be ‘softly’ assessed. This session is typically no more than 30 minutes. Advising this is a relaxed session, there is always a little gift for your child to take home afterwards.
Taster sessions are usually held within the Autumn Term before the Christmas break.
Following an initial visit to Norfolk House, Mr Lander may wish to arrange a taster day or morning for your child to experience life at Norfolk House and to meet their peers. The taster day is a valuable opportunity for an informal assessment to be carried out by our teaching staff.
Places are offered based on the ‘Taster Day’, the informal assessment and a school report (if available).
If an offer is made to your child, a completed contract, documentation, and a non-refundable deposit will be required from you to confirm a place.
Once a place has been confirmed, entry is usually at the beginning of the Autumn term in September, the Spring term in January or the Summer term in April – in certain circumstances, we do accept applications at other times during the academic year.
The admissions team will provide all details you need to ensure your families transition to Norfolk House is a smooth one. We have an online parent portal that provides easy access to the information you need, and our admissions team is available to answer any questions that you might have.
