Virtual Admissions Process

Thank you for your interest in Norfolk House School. Whilst the world may have temporarily stopped, planning for your child's education and development should not, and we are delighted to welcome you virtually to our school.

Following the UK Government announcement to close schools on 23 March, we are unfortunately not able to welcome prospective families to the school. However, during the school closure period, we have ensured a virtual admissions process is in place to provide families who are considering Norfolk House with the information they need.

We hope that our website, videos, photos and prospectus give you a flavour of what Norfolk House has to offer, and we will be delighted to welcome you to the school as soon as we possibly can.

Our virtual admissions process is outlined below. In the first instance, we would invite you to get in touch with our Admissions office via our online form.

We look forward to meeting you and learning more about your child, albeit virtually for the time being.

1 Make an Enquiry

We invite you to contact our Admissions office via our enquiry form. Our Admissions Registrar will send you our online prospectus and discuss the next steps in our admissions process. They will be more than happy to answer any questions you may have at this stage.

2 Make an Application

If you would like to apply for a place at Norfolk House, we ask that you complete a school application form and return it with a registration fee of £50.

3 Virtual Meeting with the Head

We invite you to meet with the Head, Mr Jowett, virtually via Zoom video calls. In the meeting, you will be able to discuss the needs of your child and ask questions about how Norfolk House can help nurture and develop your child's talents and abilities. Please note the virtual meeting will take place provided we have places available for the year group you are applying for.

4 Assessment Process

For children who are joining Early Years, we would ask for a contact at your child's current school or nursery. For pupils who are joining the school in Form 1 to 6, we will ask for a recent school report and a reference from your child's current school, and the children will also undergo an online assessment so that we understand their specific and individual needs.  A compulsory £100 Assessment Fee will be issued at the point of assessment.

5 Offer and Acceptance

Following the assessment process, we will be able to confirm whether we are able to offer a place for your child. We will then send a formal offer letter together with our Terms and Conditions, which you will need to sign and agree to in order to accept a place.
