Early Years Funding Offer

Starting September 2024, Norfolk House School offers 15 hours per week of government-funded early years education for all 3 and 4-year-olds, applicable during afternoon sessions. This entitlement supports children's access to high-quality education and childcare.

Eligibility

Available from the term after a child’s 3rd birthday until the term they turn 5.
Offered for 36 weeks per year during school terms.

Term Dates

Autumn Term: Starts September
Spring Term: Starts January
Summer Term: Starts April

Session Times

Monday to Friday, 12:30 PM - 3:30 PM

Admissions and Waiting List

Priority for funded places is given in the following order:

1. Siblings of current pupils
2. Registered non-siblings
3. Non-siblings attending other schools for Reception
4. Full-time attendees
5. Funded-only attendees

A £1000 deposit is required upon registration, refundable if certain conditions are met. A £50 registration fee applies unless accessing only funded hours.

Additional Services

Optional paid services include meals, consumables, and trips.
Parents can provide their own food and consumables, adhering to school policies.

Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) Support

Norfolk House works with parents to assess and meet children’s needs.
Additional support may be available through Haringey Borough Council's Targeted Setting Support and Inclusion Funding.

Early Years Pupil Premium (EYPP) and Disability Access Fund (DAF)

EYPP provides extra funding for eligible children to improve educational outcomes.
DAF supports providers in making reasonable adjustments for children receiving Disability Living Allowance (DLA).
