The Eco Warriors wanted to encourage more wildlife into our school grounds, by adding bird feeders, bird baths, bug hotels and plants that are bee friendly. The Eco Warriors also wanted to be more involved in observing and recording nature. The children in Junior Prep took part in the RSPB’s Big Bird Watch, they went on a walk to a local park and recorded the birds they had seen. They then sent this data off to the RSPB. At home the children made bird feeders to help support birds during the winter months.
