Extra-curricular

We offer a wide range of extra-curricular clubs and activities. From the Spring term pupils in Reception are able to participate, and the clubs are open all year round to Form 1 pupils, from 3.15pm until 4pm.

The following clubs are available to pupils in PrePrep throughout the year.

 Cooking Club
In Cookery Club, our aim is to instil an appreciation of different foods for our children at this young age, and help them develop a life-long love of cooking. Cooking is a fantastic activity for our children as they learn and practice a range of useful skills (including of course cleaning up after cooking!).

Story Writing Club
The club will focus on learning and creating stories through drama and writing. The children will have the opportunity to learn a range of stories as well as the chance to get creative and create their own. Children will have the chance to create their very own storybook.

Singing Club
The children will have a chance to learn a variety of different songs. This club aims to develop the
children’s understanding of music and helps develop their confidence, as well as being great fun! The
children will have a chance to perform the songs that they have learnt to parents at the end of the
term.

Multi-Sports Club
Multi-Sports Club aims to provide children with an opportunity to learn and practise ball skills both individually and as part of a team. Each session begins with a warm up, followed by a specific drill relevant to the sport chosen for that week. Each session is then completed by putting those skills into a game.

Ballet
Little London Ballet are thrilled to be offering their classes at Norfolk House from January. At Little London Ballet, we strive to deliver dance classes of the highest standard. In our eyes, every child is a star and we will nurture their individual talents gently and patiently. Our aim is to pass on our infectious love for dance by adapting our classes suitably for each age group, ensuring that their learning journey is filled with fun and lots of smiles.

Recreational Football
At Football Club, we aim to improve children’s football skills including passing, dribbling, shooting and tackling. The sessions consist of a fun warm up activity and then the children have an opportunity play a match to develop their skills and have fun! As well as individual skills we encourage playing as a team and good sportsmanship. Reception stay onsite, Form 1 go to powerleague.

Arts and Crafts Club
The children will have the opportunity to make a range of fun and exciting products using a variety of materials, for example wind chimes, lanterns, photo frames, magnets, puppets and gifts.

 Dance Club
Children have the chance to learn a variety of dance routines and take part in fun dance activities. This is a great chance for children get moving and be active, as well, as having fun.
