In form 1, we have been learning to solve addition and subtraction word problems. To help us with this challenge, we have been learning to use the RUCSAC method.
R - Reading
U - Underline (the important information)
C - Calculation (find out if it is an addition or subtraction)
S - Solve (write your number sentence)
A - Answer
C - Check (use your 100 square, mental maths strategies, number line...etc to check your answer)
