On Tuesday 21st February the Young Enterprise Scheme began for Form 6. This is a business project in which the children are in teams where they create a business plan, visit the dragons in the Dragon's Den when they ask for a loan for their business and go on to produce and sell items at the Summer Fair in June.
Each person in the team will have one of the following roles:
Research, Finance, Production, Marketing, Events and Sales.
It is very much a team effort with everyone playing their part.
As you can see from the photographs the children are engrossed in the activities which create a team building process. The skills they learn through the Young Enterprise Scheme will assist them as they progress through their next school and onwards to adult life.
We will keep you posted as to how the teams progress and you will have the opportunity to see and purchase their finished products at the summer fair.
