Friends of Norfolk House (FoNH) is the school’s Parent Association which comprises a committee of four parent volunteers. We are all extremely passionate about the school and love planning exciting events for the children and parents. FoNH fund and organise a wide range of social and charity events for parents and pupils.
FoNH highlights to look forward to every year include:
FoNH work closely with the Head Teacher, Mr Lander and the school to build positive relations between staff & parents and to create a friendly school community.
FoNH also raise funds for the school, and over the years we have been delighted to fund the purchase of “extra” things such as new football and netball kits, a scooter parking rack, library books, gazebos, additional equipment for Sports Day, a climbing wall, an outdoor play shelter, World Book Day workshops and the pupil lockers.
FoNH work with the Uniform Reps to hold second hand uniform sales each term, usually at the Muswell Avenue site. Please donate any unwanted uniform into the school office.
FoNH endeavour to donate 15% of monies raised to the school’s chosen charities each year.
Volunteering to join FoNH is a really great way to meet other parents, enjoy being part of the school community and have a positive impact on your child’s school experience.
The FoNH co-chairs and Treasurer volunteer for a two-year period, with members joining on a rolling basis each year, to ensure continuity for the committee. FoNH work closely with the class reps and meet with them twice a year to discuss our two biggest events: the Halloween Party and the Summer Fayre.
