As you can see from all the newsletter stories this week it has been a very successful start to what will be a busy and exciting year ahead. I would like to welcome all the new children joining Pre-Nursery, Nursery and Reception at the start of their Norfolk House journey, they have all settled in remarkably well and should be very proud. There are also a number of new children, joining throughout the rest of the school, who I would like to extend a very warm welcome -  Kaizad and Antonio (F1), Isaac (F2), Ihsan (F3), Enzo (F4) Eli and Kasper (F5).

Over the next year we will be focusing on three new themes as part of our School Development Plan - Foundation for Learning, The Environment and Healthy Body, Healthy Mind. The pupils and staff have already started working on these important foci with improvements to the EYFS provision, a new Student Council and Eco Warriors (including F1 this year) being chosen, Form 6 Responsibilities and an improved lunchtime experience for children at our Muswell Avenue site. Some of the children have already started to take action; Ms. Ganczar’s Eco Club have set Form 1 the ‘walk to school challenge’. As the year progresses there will be many initiatives for the children and parents to get involved in and later in the term there will be a parent presentation with more details.

We look forward to an exciting year full of innovation and collaboration!
