Today the sun came out for our school’s Platinum Jubilee Picnic and the children and staff across both sites enjoyed time together to share traditional British picnic food in celebration of this special event. Seeing all the children enjoying themselves with friends from other year groups was heartwarming. Coming together as a community is part of what makes Norfolk House such a wonderful school to be part of, whether you are a pupil, staff member or parent.

This half term we have really begun to reconnect as a community with our annual FoNH Pub Quiz, the Inside and Out mindfulness evening and, this week, our inaugural Student-Led Conferences. It has been a pleasure to welcome parents back into school and for some it was their first time in the school buildings as they joined our community partway through lockdown. The feedback from parents has been incredibly positive and we really appreciate the high levels of attendance, helping to make these events so successful.

Next half term is just as busy with events and we are looking forward to the Reception Induction, Sports Day, Senior Prep Production, EYFS Picnic & Races, End of Year Drinks Reception and Awards Day along with many other fixtures and trips for the children. As I start my final half term as Head, enjoying all these wonderful opportunities to connect as a community have made Norfolk House such a special place to work and will be something I will look back on with fond memories.
