This afternoon we held an open afternoon for prospective parents and our Head Boy and Girl, Casper and Daisy, were there to present to parents and share their experience of Norfolk House. After a short presentation by leadership, they confidently took the floor and demonstrated what it means to be a Norfolk House child. They were excellent communicators and spoke with a quiet confidence in such a natural way, explaining their perspective of life at our school and embodying our core values.

Their presentation was driven by their own ideas and they showed support for each other by interjecting information that supported what the other was saying. It was a great opportunity to practise ahead of their part in the Reception induction afternoon in June and, of course, their all important speeches at Awards Day.

I know that parents at the event were really impressed with Casper and Daisy and enjoyed hearing about some of their successes such as Casper’s recent part in the ensemble section at the North London Music Festival and Daisy’s lead role in our Senior Prep Production of Annie. I am incredibly proud, as were all the staff in attendance, of Casper and Daisy who, even though they missed sport on such a sunny day to attend, approached the event with great positivity. Well done Casper and Daisy!
