What a great start to the academic year for the Norfolk House School’s chess team! Our very first match was against Lochinver School, and we had a strong and decisive win across all boards. At the end of the first round, the score was 3 ½ to NHS and 1 ½ to Lochinver. The overall win was 6 ½ to 3 ½ to us after two nail-biting rounds. It was a phenomenal game and we all looked so smart in our impeccable school uniform. All team members, Charlotte Chan, Oliver Chan, Roman Priest, Jack Osler, Jaymin-Murry-Patel and Maria Redko performed extremely well, winning at least one game out of two! Special mention to Jack and Roman, who outshone their opponents by winning all their games! We enjoyed hosting the match and look forward to our next game against North Bridge House! Long may our triumphant streak continue!
