Once again the families at Norfolk House have demonstrated our core value of caring by raising money for Children in Need. The children all had a wonderful time on Monday 16th, carrying out a range of exciting activities. What has been so wonderful is to hear the children discussing the importance of why they were doing these activities and to see the empathy and care in them all. This year's Children in Need was slightly different from previous years with the children taking part in a range of mental health activities in the week leading up to the main event on Friday 13th.
Now more than ever it is important that we equip the children with the tools to look after their wellbeing through the use of 5 key areas, connect, take notice, Get active, Be curious (keep learning) and give. It was wonderful to have this as an added focus for Children in Need this year.
We would like to say a big well done and thank you to all our families. The school have now raised £1705 for Children in Need using the school's Just Giving page. If you would still like to donate, please use this QR code
