Last week, pupils from across the Bellevue group attended a Collaborative Learning Day at The Hampshire School Chelsea.
The children enjoyed working together, thinking creatively and critically to re-imagine George Bellows’ artwork “Men of the Docks"
Sasha G tells us about her experience:
"It was great fun at the Challenge Day. All the tasks were based around the painting "Men on the Docks" by George Bellows. We all did creative projects based around our subject specialisms. I ended up creating a piece of music and art comparing the rich and poor of the painting. We used technology and played live in the performance. We played blues for the poor side and jazz for the wealthy. The other groups did drama, computer games, presentations, artwork and languages. They were all amazing and such fun to watch. Overall, it was a super trip."
