Exciting Music activities planned for year ahead

Posted on: October 7th 2011

The music department are pleased to announce a range of activities for this winter term, to include informal concerts, Harvest Festival, the School Choir singing at Meadows Nursing Home and our Carols by Candlelight event.

This year, I am offering parents and teachers the opportunity to explore singing by forming a Parents and Teachers Choir. Singing practise will take place once a week and the aim will be to prepare a repertoire which will be performed at the school’s concerts or fundraising events. If you love singing, beginners or advanced, we want to hear from you. Please email bgrammeniati@norfolkhouseschool.org for details.

The school would like to congratulate our pupils who attended music exams last year and were awarded music grades. I am delighted to see that our list of talented musicians is growing every year and I would like to thank our peripatetic teachers for their hard work and dedication, as well as our parents’ support and enthusiasm.

Mrs. Grammeniati
