Norfolk House School recently took part in the ‘Face Britain’ initiative, led by Miss Ward. The national project, which was part of celebrations for the Queen’s Jubilee, was also a world record attempt, with around 250,000 children taking part.
All the children created self- portraits which became part of a collaborative art work. Self-portraits from children all around the UK were projected onto Buckingham Palace to create a large portrait of the Queen.
The projection was displayed from Thursday 21st to Saturday 23rd April between 8.30pm & 11.15pm and a number of the children went to view the piece.

You can visit the link to the Face Britain website here, where parents can view their child’s portrait using the password that was given out previously. There is a selection of merchandise available to purchase which displays each child’s portrait.
This was a great project for the children to be involved in and everyone really enjoyed creating their portraits.
