Last Friday Form 1 enjoyed a special Design and Technology day. To complement their current history topic, 'Toys', they created their very own hand puppets. The children made a plan of their puppet before using their newly found sewing skills to stitch the felt pieces together. They also decorated their puppets with a variety of materials. Afterwards they evaluated the process before finally playing with their new toys. It was a very successful day and we were impressed by the children’s aptitude to sewing and the infectious enthusiasm they showed for this project. Well done Form 1!
