Form 1 are learning all about Paul Cezanne in Art this term. As part of their learning they undertook a mini-research project at home.
Some of the interview questions the children came up with were excellent! We particularly liked: "Why did you use dark colours in your paintings?" (Adi) and "Do you like Leonardo Da Vinci?" (Enzo) and "Why are your paintings so soft?" (Una).
Some of the children even went to visit the Cezanne exhibition at the National Portrait Gallery. Form 1 will be learning about different elements of Art whilst working towards creating their own amazing still life paintings using oil pastels and acrylic paint. We can't wait to see their beautiful work.
