Form 1 children have been busy writing their own acrostic poems during remote learning. They have learnt that acrostics do not have to rhyme and the author has the choice to punctuate the poem or not! The children displayed the core value 'thinker' in order to choose topics related to their own experiences. Some children wrote acrostics about teachers and others chose to write about animals, flowers or planets. The children worked really hard to write and perform their poems.
Watch their lovely performance and see how the Form 1 children have become excellent communicators even when learning at home.
