Form 2 become Lego Business Owners

This week we have been focusing on our F2 Lego Business project.

The project is all about putting children into a real life scenario and developing skills that not only link to the curriculum but the future.

The skills we have been focusing on are:

• Independence of thought
• Ambition
• Communication with peers and adults
• Thinking and problem-solving skills
• Reflection skills
• Time Management skills

The children have been working on creating a unique piece of lego as well as designing an advert to sell the lego including a slogan. They have also created a box for the lego and completed a product costing to see how much it would be to make. The final part has been developing the pitch to sell their product.

This real life situation has begun to open the children’s eyes to how shops and businesses make money and why profit is important. Well done Form 2 - what a great week!
