Form 4 have been learning about Islam in their RE lessons this term. On Monday they were very lucky to have Mr. Shahid-Ali, Salaman’s dad, visit the class to talk about his experiences as a Muslim.
The children had prepared lots of questions in anticipation of Mr Shahid-Ali’s visit and they gained a great deal of knowledge and understanding from listening to his answers and hearing about his experiences.
It was incredibly beneficial for the children to hear first-hand experiences to support their learning and they all found the session both fascinating and enjoyable.
