As part of their homework task in Science last half term, Form 4 were challenged to create their own habitat models using materials they found at home or in their local environment. The habitats they designed and built were fantastic and varied from the Savannah desert, to the deepest Amazon Rainforest and even to our own Highgate Woods!
To celebrate the hard work the children put in, we invited parents to attend our habitat exhibition. Each child spoke about their pieces to interested parents, detailing how they made their models and what they had learned as a result of their research.
The children loved having the opportunity to show off their work and were extremely enthusiastic when answering questions, even giving out edible penguins to the most attentive listener!
Many thanks to all the parents that attended, it was a brilliant event, and the children really loved sharing their learning with you.
