Last week, Form 2 came to school dressed as Romans, in preparation for their Roman Focus day.
Max has shared his account of the day:In the morning we had a philosophical discussion about Boudicca, which was great. We wore brooches that we had made the day before. After, we learned about Roman Numerals which was really good but quite hard. Then we did Roman shopping. We had to decide what to buy and how much it would cost and write the answer in Roman numerals. After lunch, we went into the playground and carried out some Roman manoeuvres and drills. We were able to use the roman shields which we had made, which was very exciting! It was great fun doing army commands and drills. At the end of the day, we had a really yummy roman feast with lots of food. It was a great day!By Max, Form 2
