The children in Pre-Prep have enjoyed working on their cross-curricular topic about houses and homes and have learnt all about the different types of homes which people might live in.
In Art & DT, the children have been making house tiles out of clay and Victorian houses out of cardboard. Pre-Prep worked together as a whole year group to make a class pictogram of all their homes.
In science, the children read the Three Little Pigs and have been planning for a project to design their own houses, thinking carefully about which materials they will need to make sure the houses are windproof and waterproof. The children have enjoyed collaborating and have been working very hard together.
