On Wednesday 21 May, Form 4 and 5 students were invited to attend a performance of The Pied Piper of Hamlin at Queenswood school. The children thoroughly enjoyed the afternoon and were dazzled by an excellent performance put on by the lower school students of Queenswood.
The singing and dancing was fantastic and the children particularly liked the King Rat, played by Eleanor Burrows. She was described in the program as the Elvis of the sewer system. Charlotte from Form 5 said, “I liked the part where the piper took the children into the mountain. He taught town people a good lesson about sticking to their promises.”
