This half term, Form 2 has been exploring different types of poetry which make patterns on the page using words.
Pupils mind-mapped exciting words and phrases to describe a winter festival of their choice and then chose their best ideas to translate into an acrostic poem.
They used word processing software to design a repeating pattern border to decorate their page and considered which size, colour and type of font would make their poems really stand out.
