Fun at the Parent/Pupil Cricket & Rounders Picnic Day

Cricket and Rounders Day: 20th June 2012
The day began with excellent weather, which was great, with all the rain we are having at the moment. This year’s picnic and rounders day had even more included; cricket was introduced. Parents arrived with picnic lunches and we all enjoyed them. After the great picnic, the parents and children participating were split into teams and gave their team a unique name and the games began! Each team would play one game of cricket and one game of rounders against other teams. There were eight teams with around eleven to fifteen people per team. Every pupil, parent and teacher enjoyed the event and had a great time.
