Chris Bell came into an assembly to talk to KS2 about the Olympics. What he does as a member of the Olympic Committee. He told us about all the different sporting events that would be taking place, such as boxing, and also what buildings they would be competing in at the Olympics. He also informed us of how London won the bid for the Olympics. It was interesting when he explained the history of the Olympics and how women could not compete.
