Maths Surgeries take place for Form 6 pupils, four mornings a week, at 8.00am. The Surgeries have been up and running since the third week in September and pupils who have attended, have been practicing exam questions for Highgate, Belmont and Consortium schools.
Here are two examples of exam questions and how to answer them:
Q.
If a car costs £16,200 and is reduced in price by 15% how much do you pay for the car?
A.
10% = £1,620
5% = £810 giving a total of £2430
£16,200 - £2430 = £13,770

Q.
