Allergies: As you all know, we operate a strict no nuts policy in school; please can you check any snacks and particularly cereal bars that your children bring into school, as if they say, ‘may contain nuts’, we cannot have them brought into school.

Thanks for your cooperation in this matter.

Raincoats: Uniform:  Lost Property

We seem to already have an enormous quantity of ‘lost property’.  Can I please ask that all uniform is clearly marked/labelled.  I have noticed that where 2nd hand uniform has been purchased/passed on, some of the items in lost property still have only the ex pupils name – making it impossible to return to new owner.  It is also a good idea to ensure that the person collecting a pupil at the end of the day checks that they have everything they arrived with to take home.  I have also had a number of requests from parents who have lost blazers/uniform, who despite checking lost property are still missing items – if you could just check that they have not inadvertently been bought home.

Please ensure your child has a waterproof jacket at school, this is especially important on Wednesdays and Fridays when they go off for sports.

Mr. Broide currently has some vacancies for tutoring.  If you are interested please contact Mrs. Joannides in the office.


Please be aware that there will be traffic wardens during morning drop off and afternoon pick up to ensure children’s safety.

Mail for the office [Permission slips/trip payments]:

If you have any letters or payments for the office, then please ensure any payments are in a sealed envelope and they are put in the red holder outside the office that says “mail”.


Please remember that the office needs one full term’s notice for any change to lunch arrangements.  It is also very important that you remember to advise the office in writing of any new allergies your child may have.


Any asthma inhalers should be clearly marked with the pupils name and a spare inhaler given to the office to be held in the event of an emergency.

Request for absence:

Any request for absence should be made in writing addressed to the Head Teacher.

After School Clubs:

Please note there will be no After School Clubs on Wednesday 17th October due to Parent Consultations.
