The Pre Prep children have been fortunate enough to receive 14 new Chromebooks to supplement their lessons across the curriculum. This is a massive step forward in our IT provision and will make a huge impact on teaching and learning.
A Chromebook is a laptop running Chrome OS as its operating system. The devices are designed to be used primarily while connected to the internet, using cloud-based technology as a storage system.
Miss Howson and Mrs Bolton introduced the Form 1 children to the new Chromebooks on Monday and practiced opening and closing internet programs. The children demonstrated the Core Values of resilience and principled throughout the entire Computing lesson; with a keen interest in learning how to use their Chromebooks effectively. Well done Form 1!
