New EBeam technology to support pupils’ learning

Posted on: January 19th 2011

We are delighted to announce that we have new EBeam interactive technology installed in some of the classrooms to support and enhance the pupils' learning. In addition to the existing Interactive Whiteboards (IAWB) in school, we have recently added new EBeam technology to some of the classrooms (F4,5,6 and 2B).  These work in a similar way to IAWBs and provide an engaging way of involving the pupils in their learning. They can be used with any software and allow pupils to work at the board and interactively engage with programs.

Ms Habgood, Assistant Head has trained all the staff in its use and is looking forward to seeing the pupils using it in lessons.  "The pupils are very excited about the new technology," says Ms Habgood.  "We're sure that they'll help the staff if and when they get stuck, as they seem to have already learned exactly how to use it!"
