NSPCC deliver Online Safety Workshop for parents

On Tuesday 5th February it was Safer Internet Day and Norfolk House were able to secure a representative from the NSPCC to come along and run a parent workshop focusing on online safety, which was well received and highlighted some key points.

It was wonderful that so many parents were able to attend and to discuss some of the areas that parents find challenging. With our children growing up surrounded by technology, it is important that we equip them with the skills for dealing with problems that may arise, and understand the potential problems ourselves.

The workshop provided a useful opportunity for parents to discuss common concerns within a safe space and it was great to see how, as a school, we are covering a lot of the safety information with our children within computing lessons.
