Our approach to E-Safety

Posted on: February 25th 2011

Parents may already be aware that 8th February was Internet Safety Day. It was established to raise online awareness for both children and adults, and one of its key supporters is CEOP (Child Exploitation and Online Protection Centre) who produce excellent support materials for both parents and schools on how to ensure children are safe online.

At Norfolk House we have a very pro-active approach to e-safety and already have a curriculum which ensures that our pupils have regular lessons that promote this aspect of ICT, but it is always a great idea to reinforce this type of awareness as often as possible at home.

We did send out a ‘Help Sheet’ at the beginning of the year to parents, but if anyone would like to see another copy, you can view it here.
