Norfolk House School is very excited to be holding Art Week next week. The whole school will be participating in a variety of art projects throughout the week, culminating in a gallery of work to be presented to parents on Friday 25th November (6-8pm).
As part of the events, there will be a range of workshops for parents and pupils to attend on the evening.
Details for each of the workshops are as follows:• Revelation Natural Art (digital art): Learn how to use this computer based art package to create patterns, paintings and collages using the software's extensive range of natural media.
• Still Life Drawing: Choose from a range of mark-making materials to produce your own unique representation of a selection of items found in nature.
• Card Making: Design and make a seasonal card using a range of materials and effects.
• Stained Glass Effect Window Hangings: Use autumn leaves to create a seasonal window decoration.
• Vegetable Printing: Create a colourful picture using cut vegetables, paint and ink. Great for young artists and their parents!
• Art Appreciation: Consider different ways of observing and understanding pictures of various styles, through content, context, form and mood.
This event is sure to be great fun and we look forward to seeing all of our parents there!
