Over the course of this half term, Pre-Prep will be learning about toys past and present.
To introduce our topic on toys, we had a Toy Day on Thursday 12th September, where all the children came to school dressed as a toy.
As part of our Toy Day, we took part in some cross-curricular activities, including counting toys in a toy shop, writing about the teddies we had brought in from home and thinking about lots of ‘WOW’ words to describe them. We all enjoyed a Teddy Bear’s picnic provided by our very own Pre-Prep Teddy Bear, Barnaby.
Our learning on toys will be consolidated by an end of term visit to the Museum of Childhood.
