Pre-Prep Visit The Museum of Childhood

Posted on: October 18th 2013

On Thursday 17 October, Pre-Prep had an enjoyable trip to the Museum of Childhood. The day started with a session looking at different toys on a timeline and the children had the chance to play with various games and toys from the past. These included a Rubik’s Cube, super-hero pairs, Weebles and a magnetic fishing game.

The children were fortunate enough to visit the museum when there was a special exhibition about War Games, which included fantasy warfare such as dragons, Ben 10 and Star Wars. There were lots of opportunities for the children to experience different toys in the interactive areas from dressing up to performing their own puppet shows.

This trip was a wonderful experience for the children as they were able to consolidate their learning about toys from then and now.
