Despite the rain last Friday, Norfolk house pulled together to raise money for Comic Relief.
The children were dressed to impress with their outfits reflecting the theme ‘Something Funny for Money’. A wonderful cake sale was enjoyed by all and we’d like to take this opportunity to thank all the mums who gave up their time to help sell cakes at playtime and after school; as well as all those who donated cakes for the cake sale. Without your support these events would not be possible.
Pre-Prep and Reception put on a wonderful performance at Alexandra Palace ice rink raising around £180. A big thanks to Alexandra Palace for donating the entrance fee collected; to make this amount possible. An article on this event can be viewed on http://alexandranews.wordpress.com/2011/03/18/skates-on-for-charity/ .
Form 2 to Form 6 boys and girls took part in their sponsored activities and although it was wet, managed to score a number of goals/hoops for charity. Please could you return sponsor forms and money on Monday so we can work out the total amount raised by Norfolk House for Comic Relief.
Finally, we'd like to thank everyone who supported our events for Comic Relief this year and we look forward to updating you on the final amount raised.
