Last week Reception had their second ‘buddy’ session with Form 5 and 6. The children in Reception were so excited so see their buddies again and had a fantastic afternoon. The children in Form 5 and 6 have been learning about Klee and Kandinsky in Art. They all shared some of the art they had created and the Reception children had fun giving their impressions of the pictures. The Reception children then had a chance to work with their buddy to create their own piece. They used lots of shapes and interesting colours to create their pictures. The children worked really well together, it was great to see some of the imaginative ideas the children came up with. We are all looking forward to the next session!
