Reception put on a fantastic performance recently with their ‘Going Places’ assembly.
At the beginning of term, the children visited a local travel agency, where they were given catalogues from a range of world wide destinations. Each child then wrote a short piece about a place that they would like to visit.
They read their short stories out in assembly and concluded their performance with an excellent rendition of Cliff Richard’s, ‘Summer Holiday’.
The brilliant participation from all Reception pupils during this assembly clearly displays just how confident and engaged they have become this year.
It was a real joy to see them enthusiastically perform for their peers and parents.
