King Alfred Vs. Norfolk House
Rugby Match
11th November Remembrance Day 2016
The big day finally arrived, the mighty King Alfred take on the small Norfolk House from Muswell Hill. We set out two teams,
Team one, Felix (Team Captain) , Luke, Ben E, Aaron, Sohan, Max and Oliver
Team two, Casper, Freddy, Ben C, Zac, Christian, Tommy and Daniel
Team one kicked off with Mr. A as our Referee/Coach, my tactic was to suck in King Alfred in passing, while keeping us in a line across the pitch. We won game one 12-9.
As team two joined us for end of the first match they came back with the win 12-5. Coached by Mr. Holt.
Match two; it really was hard, as they were strong and more resilient than the previous team. With 30 seconds left, we were losing 7-8, but then Felix went through the defense to get the equalizer. 8-8.
Team two came back with the score of 9-3. From game two with Christian scoring most of the tries for team two.
Unbeaten on all 4 games, Norfolk House celebrated the away win, on Remembrance Day, a day to always remember.
I must say well done to the boys and coaches Mr. Holt, and Mr. A.
From the Head Of Rugby Felix Freed.
