It has been another busy start to the year with almost a third of the children from Forms 2 to 6 taking part in School Council election speeches.
It is always impressive to see the confidence and passion with which the children conduct themselves during these speeches. Having spoken to a number of the class teachers, the children have got some wonderful ideas on how we can improve the playground and some exciting ideas for fundraising events.
Last year it was decided that the school’s chosen charity would run from December to December, therefore we will still be doing some fundraising this term for Cancer Research UK.

Our Head Boy and Head Girl will also attend School Council meetings and have the opportunity to visit the younger year groups in order to give them a voice at the meetings.
We look forward to another exciting year with some fresh ideas.
