On Saturday 5th May the Senior Ensemble woke up, put on full school uniform and made their way to Hampstead Garden Suburbs Free Church for the Under 11 Ensembles Category of the North London Festival.
The 13 musicians in the group are used to giving up their time to their improvement and achievements as they rehearse at play time during Tuesday lunch.
They performed beautifully at the festival and represented the school amazingly, bringing home gold medals for what the adjudicator Orlando Joplin described as "a really good sound quality, great solos, lovely phrasing, well done on the speaking, great team work, listening to others while you were playing. Well done and keep up the music-making!"
