Last week the Under 11 and Under 9 Football teams played a fixture against Herewood House School. The Under 11s played magnificently and won 2 : 0 against strong opposition. It was by far their most solid performance of the season. All the players gave 100%. Special mentions should be made to Henry Gibson who volunteered to play in goal and was superb, and to Man of the Match, Finley Martin, and also to Billy Saxton who scored a tremendous goal from a long range free kick.
The Under 9s showed great commitment and resilience against a much stronger and more physical team. Despite losing, the team never gave up. Special mention to Sam Nathan Saffron, Man of the Match, who volunteered to play in goal and pulled off a string of impressive saves.
Throughout the day the boys were very well behaved both on and off the pitch and were a credit to Norfolk House School.
Lastly, thank you to both Salman's and Billy's parents for coming along and supporting the boys.
