The student council are pleased to announce our chosen charity for this year will continue to be Great Ormond Street Hospital. Did you know that the hospital first opened in 1852? Great Ormond Street hospital treats children from all around the UK and the world and almost half of their patients are under three years old. They need to raise approximately £50 million every year to help maintain the hospital, buy equipment and fund research so that is why we have chosen to continue to support this worthy charity. We are currently in the planning stage of our fundraising efforts and are deciding on what exciting initiatives to action this year, so watch this space!
