WW1 Last Letters

 Our Last Letters

Form 6 have been studying World War One and the conditions soldiers had to endure whilst in the trenches. We have been using our learning and imagination to write letters from the trenches.

The letters are written by the soldier to their family before the soldier goes ‘over the top’ into battle which could lead to their death. It is interesting to contemplate the final thoughts of the soldier before facing the uncertainty of what lay ahead.

The children did a brilliant job of emphasising with what the soldiers must have felt like during this time.
