I heard on the news last week that Carol concerts are becoming a thing of the past and are in decline. I am pleased to say that we still continue to hold our annual concert and a large number of parents attended to sing along with their children.
The recorder group played three songs with confidence and skill, accompanied by Mrs Fern. The Senior Choir sang three songs which were accompanied by Mr Cannon, they were in fine voice and it was nice to hear the range of musical styles they performed.
The choir, which was led brilliantly this year by Mrs Crawford, sang a wide range of Christmas songs and carols with some amazing solo performances. I am always amazed to see such confidence from our children.
It was a lovely evening that was enjoyed by all who attended.
