Interhouse Cross Country Queenswood

Posted on: March 12th 2015 | Category:

The weather may be cool outside, however things were certainly heating up at the Interhouse Cross Country event on Wednesday 25th February. It was off to a quick start for Forms 3 and 4 who were first to run. They displayed a large amount of resilience and determination throughout the race and crossed the finish line a short time later. It was fantastic to see Forms 5 and 6 showing a large degree of sportsmanship in cheering Forms 3 and 4 over the finish line. Forms 5 and 6 were next to run and steadily paced themselves through the track and toward the finish line where Mrs Ellison, Mrs Pakkos and Mrs Daymer stood cheering them on. It was a tremendously close result between the houses with Nelson winning by a mere 1 point (61 points), Wellington was close behind with 60 points and Clive with 59 points. Well done everyone who participated, we are immensely proud of your efforts!
